Spectrum Webmail Email Settings – SMTP, IMAP & POP3.
How to set up your Spectrum Webmail email account with third-party email programs like Gmail, Incredimail, Mailbird lite, Opera, Thunderbird, Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016, your Android Phone, your iPhone, Apple Mail, eM Client, or Entourage.
If you want your Spectrum Webmail emails to be retrievable in desktop email programs or on your cell phone, you must set up the server settings in your email program.
Open your email program, such as Gmail, find Server Settings, and enter these server settings, if your email address ends in @Twc.com or RR.com (*).

On Dec 9, 2020 my Outlook 2003 stopped receiving my mi.rr.com emails. Outgoing works. Reading online it seems quite a few people having similar issues. Seems POP/SMTP might not be supported anymore. Please confirm.
My first though was to load the new Outlook, but even with this I cannot get it to work at all.
I tried setting up the newer Outlook.live in IMAP/SMTP and tried both the mail.mi.rr.com and mail.twc.com. The mail.twc.com gave an error regarding the SMTP server. Failed to connect to SMTP server ‘mail.twc.com’ Port 587
What do I need to do to get this working.
I just set up my Spectrum email account on Thunderbird and I had to make one change in the directions. For the outgoing server, SSL/TLS didn’t work. I use STARTTLS instead.
